Public bug reported: Before yesterday everything worked fine: I could simply import photos from my Canon EOS 400D. When I connected the camera to my PC the usual dialog pops up that asks me with which application I would like to import my photos. However since yesterday this stopped working. When I connect the camera nothing happens. However the camera is recognized by GThumb and F-Spot. But when I want to import the photos via one of these applications I get the following error: "An error occurred in the io-library ('Unspecified error'): No error description available"

That day everything worked just fine. Yesterday (so after a reboot) it stopped working, out of nothing. Please let me know if I have to do some tests to find out the cause of this problem. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Importing from camera stopped working https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/666645 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
