Public bug reported: Binary package hint: network-manager
For the last couple of days the wireless has become very flaky on my laptop. The connection keeps getting cut. It re-established itself but of course all my ssh sessions die and I have to reconnect. I had no problems with lucid and I didn't have any problems for a while after the upgrade. Also the network manager crashed when trying to file this bug. hook /usr/share/apport/package-hooks//source_network-manager.py crashed: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/apport/report.py", line 640, in add_hooks_info symb['add_info'](self) File "/usr/share/apport/package-hooks//source_network-manager.py", line 48, in add_info report[key] = _device_details(device) File "/usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/problem_report.py", line 494, in __setitem__ assert k.replace('.', '').replace('-', '').replace('_', '').isalnum() AssertionError ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 Package: network-manager 0.8.1+git.20100810t184654.ab580f4-0ubuntu2 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-22.35-generic-pae 2.6.35.4 Uname: Linux 2.6.35-22-generic-pae i686 NonfreeKernelModules: fglrx Architecture: i386 CRDA: Error: [Errno 2] No such file or directory Date: Tue Oct 26 11:18:12 2010 IfupdownConfig: auto lo iface lo inet loopback InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat" - Release i386 (20101007) IpRoute: 169.254.0.0/16 dev wlan0 scope link metric 1000 10.0.0.0/8 dev wlan0 proto kernel scope link src 10.1.1.4 metric 2 default via 10.1.1.1 dev wlan0 proto static Keyfiles: Error: [Errno 2] No such file or directory ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, user) LANG=en_NZ.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: network-manager ** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 maverick -- The wireless keeps cutting out after a recent update https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/666541 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
