I believe I fixed this already, however can you run `sudo apt-get update
&& sudo apt-get install ubiquity` in a console on the Live CD, Pinx?
Just start the installer by typing `ubiquity -d` in a console to enable
debug mode, and run it until it crashes or to the "Ready to install"
screen. I cannot guarantee that the partitioner will not modify your
system, but I am fairly certain that it will not. Once you get to the
"Ready to install" screen, cancel the installer and attach
/var/log/syslog and /var/log/installer/debug to this bug report.

Thanks!
