All, I can not confirm cync behind proxy on Ubuntu 10.10 with up-to-today updates.
I tried: - Connected to internet without proxy, connected to U1. It worked, folder synced. - Moved behind a proxy, then connected to U1 - this step worked. Client logs-in, shows login, amount of free space and so on. - Created a short file in Ubuntu One folder - This did not sync. Small green and yellow arrows remains with the file icon even after few hours behind proxy - I checked on my mobile using web browser and this file is really not in one.ubuntu.com I was about to play with manual sync, but the toolbar is not visible and context menu from my home folder on Ubuntu One folder shows the only enabled option: Hide toolbar (might not be accurate, I use localization). Of course, I do not see any toolbar, which is obscure. (Or usual on U1) This suggests that the client is hanging somewhere. My conclusion for behind proxy setup is that client connects, but does not sync as it never did. I have suspicion that this must be an intention to disallow people use this "modern" and "buzzword" application in corporate environment.
