The log above is before locking my computer and the one below after coming back from a lock with the window not accepting any input until switched
** Description changed: Binary package hint: gnome-control-center Description: Ubuntu 9.10 Release: 9.10 If I let my computer stay for some time and the screen gets locked, after I login back, my keyboard does not work in the window that is open. So I have to switch to another window and then back and the keyboard starts working. This happens no matter what window I have open: eclipse, firefox, virtualBox, open office, etc. I use a logitech wireless mouse and keyboard which seems to be working fine since I can input my password to unlock the screen. --- Architecture: amd64 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 GnomeSessionIdleInhibited: No GnomeSessionInhibitors: None InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS "Lucid Lynx" - Release amd64 (20100429) Package: gnome-screensaver 2.30.0-1ubuntu1 PackageArchitecture: amd64 ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, user) LANG=en_CA.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-22.34-generic 2.6.35.4 Tags: maverick Uname: Linux 2.6.35-22-generic x86_64 UserGroups: adm admin cdrom dialout lpadmin plugdev sambashare WindowManager: gnome-wm + + --- + Architecture: amd64 + DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 + GnomeSessionIdleInhibited: No + GnomeSessionInhibitors: None + InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS "Lucid Lynx" - Release amd64 (20100429) + Package: gnome-screensaver 2.30.0-1ubuntu1 + PackageArchitecture: amd64 + ProcEnviron: + PATH=(custom, user) + LANG=en_CA.utf8 + SHELL=/bin/bash + ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-22.34-generic 2.6.35.4 + Tags: maverick + Uname: Linux 2.6.35-22-generic x86_64 + UserGroups: adm admin cdrom dialout lpadmin plugdev sambashare + WindowManager: gnome-wm -- Keyboard not working after screen lock https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/512941 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
