iconified is the KDE term for minimized, sorry for any confusion. To reproduce - 1) start update-manager 2) minimize its main window 3) start a second instance of update-manager
The second instance will exit immediately, without asking the first one to restore its window to a normal or maximized view. BTW what does "remix" mean WRT Ubuntu releases? The initial install on my notebook was the then-current release in March 2010. -- update-manager: does not deiconify when second instance is started https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/662125 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
