I tried several things: rebooting standby/wakeup reinstall lirc different lirc driver (usb_uirt_raw and uirt2_raw)
nothing worked... Then my wife had an excellent idea: just unplug this shitty thing and plug it again... And what can I say? It worked again!!!!!!!!!!!!! It seems my USBUIRT was somehow "confused". Everything is fine now. No bug in lirc!
