Received this error when starting checkgmail:

/usr/lib/perl5/XML/Parser.pm line 187
Perl exited with active threads:

0 finished and unjoined
0 running and detached
Resolution: deleted ~/.checkgmail
Think that having a period in my username might have bugged it...
testing now.
