I've had working audio and mplayer since 8.04, but since the upgrade to 10.10, no videos will play - after a few seconds I get the problem regarding pa_stream_cork failed. This is every single video I play through mplayer - it doesn't start to go wrong after a while, it doesn't get worse - it simply doesn't work.
Can we please categorise this as a high-priority bug? At the least, provide a backport to the 10.04 (or earlier) version so that I can watch videos again please.
