Public bug reported: Currently Gnome uses Notify OSD for passive application notifications, while KDE uses KDE's default notification applet. Colibri provides similar passive notifications to Notify OSD, with fading on mouse-over and click-through. This would be much preferable to the current situation for aesthetic reasons and for consistency across Ubuntu variants.
