Ubuntu 10.10 running on Advent 4211 netbook (MSI Wind-like netbook)
Was working fine in 10.04
Stopped on generic 10.10 install.
I have added 10.10 Medibuntu and updated the mplayer version to their version, 
but this made no difference at all (which it wouldn't, given that the problem 
is pulseaudio).
