The upstream fix committed by Dan Williams works (I'm using it now from the Network Manager Daily PPA - https://launchpad.net/~network- manager/+archive/trunk).
This should be updated in Lucid and Maverick. The specific path is clear, concise, and specific. Only dual mode modems are effected, and it selects CDMA over GSM by reversing the order of the conditional checks in the code, which previously preferred GSM over CDMA. ** Changed in: modemmanager (Ubuntu) Status: In Progress => Fix Committed ** Also affects: modemmanager Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: modemmanager Status: New => Fix Committed ** Changed in: modemmanager (Ubuntu) Status: Fix Committed => In Progress -- UMW190 not supported - confusion over CDMA vs GSM https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/657136 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
