Sorry to be a bit insistent here : 1) This bug was submitted 4 months ago : why is it still marked as "new" ?
2) Having smb:// and sftp:// directly implemented in Thunar 1.2.x will certainly be nice, but this is another issue. Gigolo is the default tool/method to open Windows shares (and sftp shares) in Xubuntu 10.04, and without "gvfs-fuse" installed it can simply not do it. The fix (making Gigolo dependent on gvfs-fuse, or forcing the installation of gvfs-fuse ) is so simple that I don't understand why it is not applied as a Xubuntu 10.04 update. -- gigolo package is missing Depends: or Recommends: gvfs-fuse https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/596337 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
