The gnome web site said that evolution express is an effort to optimize evolution for netbooks(http://live.gnome.org/Evolution/Art). I tried logging into a new gnome desktop session and started evolution. Under a desktop session evolution behaved normally. I use a netbook so, I'm all for optimizing evolution for small screens, but evolution express does not seem ready. There does not seem to be any way to access tasks, and I don't see any way to change the privacy setting on an appointment. The interfaces to some important features seem to have been removed. I'm going to see if I can make evolution open in it's normal mode even while I'm in an ubuntu netbook session. I think for now the normal mode should be changed back to the default for netbook sessions. -- evolution calendar becomes evolution mail when notification applet is used https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/658121 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
