I've tried a fresh install of 10.10 64bit, and the problem still exists (after more than a month!). Both audio and video play normally at first, but after ca. 10-20 minutes, it all goes jiggery, with playback "bouncing" a split second forward or backwards. As I've mentioned before - this is extremely annoying, and has already caused me to downgrade to 10.04, where this problem doesn't exist. If you need any more information to solve it, just tell me.
