@Tim: I agree with this policy and perhaps mountall is doing a better job now at adhering to it.
I have a problem with informational messages and prompts are not showing up on console. This isn't as big of a deal when you are aware of the issue; you said yourself that you went through the source code to learn of "nobootwait".
