Public bug reported:
Netgear WPN 511 is recognized on startup but will not connect to the
network without being cycled. It will not connect to default network
when others are present. It insists on trying to connect to the
strongest signal. I had to remove NetworkManager Gnome applet to be
able to connect to my network.
