I'm not seeing any significant improvement in Ubuntu 10.10 RC1. I've heard talk about some global shortcut to bring up the session-switcher menu (or whatever it's called), but that's not very discoverable. In my opinion, the Shutdown dialog, which is keyboard-accessible, should be augmented with a Logout option.
