Hi, I think I just solved the problem and it was KDE-related (Konsole, Konqueror...). Apparently the locale-settings were screwed. After running 'sudo dpkg-reconfigure locales' and 'sudo apt-get install localeconf' the problem was solved (don't know which one did the trick though) by restarting kde.
Apparently the updates had messed up the locales somehow. -- Scandinavian letters and other special keys stopped functioning after March 31st updates (Feisty) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/101878 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
