Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: eclipse

As said, Eclipse (any version) looks damn ugly in Ubuntu (any version).
Not only that, it also becomes unusable in laptops since it has so many empty
spaces, leaving close to no space to the actual programming environment.

Further description and some workarounds, probably not enough, are found
here http://blog.xam.dk/?p=70
