Just tested with the latest maverick desktop amd64 image (20100928) and it's still kind of an issue: with a mic plugged in, I can hit the mic and headphones to get it to pick some sound, but it doesn't get voice at all -- I suspect the sound levels are too low and there is no way to change it (it's all mixed out).
Furthermore, jack sensing doesn't work for the speaker/headphones plug; I have something plugged in and the sound isn't redirected, it still comes out the integrated speakers. -- Microphones not working on Dell Vostro 320 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/497546 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
