my notebook dident load my mouse pad, the download log says--alps
ps/2alps glide-point touch pad found adding input device. ,applying alps
ps/2 glide point driver 1.2.2,   no supported touch-pad found.  alps
ps/2 glide point no synaptics event found,  prelmt failed,  unload
module:synaptics. so it loaded the driver then it dumped it. i can
download the driver from Toshiba, i have a Toshiba a15-s157, on to a usb
drive, but i wouldn't no how to load it. i also have another problem, i
went to root to change my password and i typed passwd rocalotjeff, it
asked me for my new password, it said changed successfully.  then it
asked me to log in and it said it was wrong. is there a certain way to
log in? i have the desktop version and that works great. i would really
like my laptop to work to,im new at this help PLEASE! thank you. jeff
