Public bug reported: I am using a Dell Latitude (E5600) laptop.
Hibernate does not work since I upgraded to Lucid (doesn't work in Maverick too). Also sometimes the hibernate option does not appear in the "Indicator Applet Session" menu. The steps to generate the issue are as follows: * I press the power button on the laptop * A window appears asking wether to Shutdown/Restart/Suspend/Hibernate, so I choose Hibernate * The screensaver appears for glimpse, then a blank screen with a blinking underscore cursor, it remains like this for some while, then the bluetooth led on the laptop turns off, yet the power led is still on. * I wait for some considerable time, the power led is still on, so I just poweroff the laptop (by pressing/holding the power button). * When I power on the laptop again, it just starts a new session, no indication that it is attempting to resume a hibernated session. Note: suspend/resume works alright in Lucid & Maverick. --- AlsaVersion: Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 1.0.23.
