Public bug reported: Binary package hint: dvgrab
Plug the camera with a cassette, and leave it ready to work. Execute dvgrab: sudo dvgrab -rewind -s 2000 foo-1- All is ok. Cassette finishes. Change the cassette, run almost the same command: sudo dvgrab -rewind -s 2000 foo-2- And I get the following error: rom1394_0 warning: read failed: 0x0000fffff0000414 error reading config rom directory for node 0 rom1394_1 warning: read failed: 0x0000fffff0000414 error reading config rom directory for node 1 Error: no camera exists ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 Package: dvgrab 3.5-1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-22.33-generic-pae 2.6.35.4 Uname: Linux 2.6.35-22-generic-pae i686 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Architecture: i386 Date: Mon Sep 27 13:08:42 2010 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 9.10 "Karmic Koala" - Release i386 (20091028.5) ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, user) LANG=es_AR.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: dvgrab ** Affects: dvgrab (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 maverick -- First time works ok, second time it doesn't find the camera https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/649086 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
