This bug affects me too. I have Acer Aspire One AO110L. Cairo-Dock works well without OpenGL, but when I start it with OpenGL, it starts in maintenance mode. I attach log with this comment as well. I started Cairo-Dock, then I applied settings and closed the maintenance window. Then I closed Cairo-Dock. I hope this log helps.
