Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: banshee-community-extensions

After installing the banshee-extension-soundmenu package and enabling
the plugin in the Banshee prefs dialog, the sound menu integration

is running, the play/pause/skip buttons don't change or work when a song
is playing (or when one isn't).
