I do not know why, but I have not been receiving emails for the 200+ comments added to this bug report. I have received an email recently. I've attempted to reproduce this on Lucid, updated 20 minutes ago and have been unable too. firefox 3.6.10 is the version I'm using now.
I suspect this issue has been resolved in the significant number of releases made since it was reported.
