Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-panel
Ever since upgrading from 9.10 to 10.4 and now to 10.10 alpha, there is no volume control in the GNOME panel. There doesn't seem to be a way to add it. Volume control is not listed in the 'Add to panel' dialog. My sound works perfectly, and the volume control buttons on the keyboard work. gnome-panel: Installed: 1:2.30.2-1ubuntu3 Candidate: 1:2.30.2-1ubuntu3 Version table: *** 1:2.30.2-1ubuntu3 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ maverick/main amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status Description: Ubuntu maverick (development branch) Release: 10.10 ** Affects: gnome-panel (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- No volume control in panel https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/642872 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
