The bug report has been linked to a branch that contains the proposed
2-character fix. Of course, having no knowledge about the internals of
Unity, I'm not sure whether the fix negatively affects other components
of Unity.

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: unity

The launcher loads its icons with a size of 48 px, but actually displays
them with a size of 32 px. Scaling the icons down causes them to look
- blurry. Two icons are attached to this bug report which demonstrate the
- rather obvious difference.
+ blurry.
