Hello I added the code to that as a root and still no luck, I do know my 
speakers work because I am dual boot with windows 7.
Thank you again with helping me with this, I am so lost with getting them to 
work.

Ok, here is something else to try. Open up /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-
base.conf in an editor as root. Add this line to the bottom of the file:

options snd-hda-intel model=laptop-micsense

Once the file has been saved, reboot your system.

Please let me know if you have sound. If you do, please run this command
in a terminal, so we can get another snapshot of your hardware: "apport-
collect -p alsa-base 634298"
