I've just run apport again. Not sure this gives additional information of what has just happened.
Please note that the problem is in suspending, not resuming. - i close the lid - the system doesn't ever fully suspend (I can hear the fan) - I reopen the lid: the screen is black but not turned off - nothing will wake up the computer. I have to force power of by holding the power button. This is only the second time it happens; I suspend/resume about a couple of times or more a day usually without problem, so this happens every once in a while. I notice "importance" is still "undecided". If the range is low-medium- high, then it is not difficult to decide it is high. Suspend/resume just cannot fail. If it is not 100% reliable, it would be much better not to have the possibility to suspend. -- [Lucid] failed to suspend/resume https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/628892 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
