Public bug reported:

After a recent upgrade of my Feisty installation (between the 21st and
25th of april) I started to experience system freezes. The screen just
blacks out and everything freezes. Sound hangs for a moment and then
stops playing, and I just end up with a completely black screen. I can't
switch to a VC either. It just freezes.

This only happens when I run 3D applications for a few minutes; like
Beryl, Compiz or a 3D game (Soldier of fortune 2 demo through Wine in my
case)

This never happened before, so I'm pretty sure something has changed
since the upgrade.

I attached my dpkg.log

I also want to note that the problem probably came from an upgrade on
the 24th or the 25th (I think the 24th), but because I'm not entirely
sure, I'm attaching the log between the 21th and the 25th.

And some details about my videocard and system setup:

It's an ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 32MB VRam
and I'm using the opensource "ati" driver with DRI and Compositing enabled.
I use a colordepth of 16bit and I have the option "XAANoOffscreenPixmaps" set
in my Device section. The rest should be pretty default, but I'm attaching my
full xorg.conf too.
