Dear fellows,

I am also suffering this problem, although in my case disabling the
GSSAPIAuthentication seems to help (only tested once). I'm attaching the
ssh -vvv log with the GSSAPIauthentication on. BTW: I use password
authentication, instead of key/passphrase.

It might be interesting to note that, from my debian etch PC (also
openssh v. 4.2p8), ssh login is quick. In this case, there are no GSSAPI
related options in /etc/ssh/ssh_config (dist-upgraded from sarge).

In case you  want the ssh -vv log differences with GSSAPI authentication
off, I'm attaching that in the next post.
