Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution
This has never happened to me before transition to Maverick beta (64bit). Now this happens something like half the time I start evolution and when it does most of the messages in the affected account's inbox just disappear, both read, unread and new. I see a flash of them before they are gone, the messages return (I see them again) when evolution starts up without giving me this error message. The entire message I get reads: Error while Refreshing folder 'INBOX'. Incomplete server response: no information provided for message 88 NOt all messages shown ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 Package: evolution 2.30.3-1ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-20.29-generic 2.6.35.4 Uname: Linux 2.6.35-20-generic x86_64 Architecture: amd64 Date: Thu Sep 16 11:56:45 2010 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/evolution InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat" - Beta amd64 (20100901.1) ProcEnviron: LANG=en_US.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: evolution XsessionErrors: (polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1:1812): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_once_init_leave: assertion `initialization_value != 0' failed (gnome-appearance-properties:1968): Gdk-CRITICAL **: IA__gdk_display_sync: assertion `GDK_IS_DISPLAY (display)' failed (gnome-appearance-properties:1968): Gdk-CRITICAL **: IA__gdk_display_sync: assertion `GDK_IS_DISPLAY (display)' failed ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- evolution: Error while Refreshing folder 'INBOX' in 10.10 beta https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/640315 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
