andy, i can confirm this issue on kubuntu 10.04 amd64, running on a compaq cq62. AMD Athlon(tm) II P320 Dual-Core Processor
Linux 2.6.32-24-generic #42-Ubuntu SMP Fri Aug 20 14:21:58 UTC 2010 x86_64 GNU/Linux i've tracked it down to the default settings in powerdevil, the kde power managment service settings. for the performance, powersave and presentation profiles, the default cpu frequency scaling policy is set to dynamic (ondemand). after changing each of these settings to dynamic (conservative), the error message is no longer reported. change back to dynamic (ondemand) and the error is reported. hope this helps in getting this one resolved. pls advise if more info required. cheers -- CPUFREQ: Per core ondemand sysfs interface is deprecated - up_threshold https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/585747 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
