In Lucid, birthdays are cropped when the names are too long and also seem to widen the clock applet, which causes parts of it to go outside of the screen when the clock applet is in the default location on the panel.
In Maverick, birthdays doesn't seem to be displayed in the clock applet at all, which is a bad thing, imho. In both Lucid and Maverick, appointments and tasks are limited to 21 characters when displayed in bold and 26 in plain. We really do need tooltips, or some other way of providing a quick preview of a task or appointment. -- the clock calendar should use tooltips on events https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/9449 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
