Hello jonie Only things that i can tell you are: - I made a fresh installation of Lucid 10.04.1 and everythings works fine, growiso and popup too, the disk is regularry blanked but not detected after blanking. -The same blanked disk is detected in Maverick. I have updated Lucid ( no backports and proposed) at today and retry and everythings still working like described. Fabio
