Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: update-manager

Looks like, UM tries to request old files.

1. Ubuntu maverick (development branch)
2. Update Manager 1:0.142.13
3. Trying to update cache
4. I get this -

W:Failed to fetch
http://ppa.launchpad.net/jonls/redshift-ppa/ubuntu/dists/maverick/main/source/Sources.gz
  404 Not Found
, W:Failed to fetch
http://ppa.launchpad.net/jonls/redshift-ppa/ubuntu/dists/maverick/main/binary-i386/Packages.gz
  404 Not Found
, E:Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones
used instead.

Then I get a list of updates and i can successfully update Ubuntu, but
UM still says that the package information was last updated 7+ days ago.
