I'm not sure that this bug is correctly associated with gst0.10-python. I've got a Lucid i386 Host (this system came pre-installed with Feisty I believe and still has some apps / configurations that I can't easily reinstall under x64, so I've been upgrading since.)
I've got libvirt/virt-manager installed. As guests have a variety of systems available but I suppose the easiest to deal with is another Lucid i386 installation, (this one fresh from a release image and updated to current packages). Sound is working fine on the host. I've configured an ac97 sound card (but also tested es1370) in the VM. The volume control in the VM seems to indicate that that it recognizes the virtual card. But sound is not being passed through. I will run the apport-collect -p alsa-base 572176 for the VM, but I assume that this may be a KVM/libvirt issue more that an gstreamer issue. -- sound not working on virtual machine https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/572176 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
