Spyder is in Debian:
http://packages.debian.org/squeeze/spyder

But they provide the old version.
The new totally overhauled version 2 will be released in September. It would be
nice If Ubuntu could ship it as sign for its commitment to science computing.

What can we do to upgrade and have the latest version in Ubuntu 10.10?
