Public bug reported: My apologies if this isn't in the right section, I was looking for a package named "storage" (as per https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage#Hardware%20Malfunctions) and was unable to find it, so this was the next best guess.
Anyhow, my Sony CD-RW drive will instantly retract after it's ejected with ubuntu. This will happen regardless of whether I press the eject button on the physical drive, or use any kind of eject function within ubuntu. This is definitely not a drive malfunction. It will not do this if I run windows. (Special fstab options for this drive are users, nodev) ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Description changed: -- After my CD-Rom is ejected, the tray will instantly retract. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/635344 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
