Hi Ahmed, After seeking some advice, seems I was using root terminal so was looking in the wrong home directory for the files (Doh!). However, whilst I have found the xmodmap & evtest files, the evtest file has zero length. I ran the command as instructed and any key I pressed output to the screen but did not appear in the file as expected (I used ctrlC to go back to the command prompt). Suspect this doesnt actually help but clears up the mystery of where the files were!
