Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gwibber
Attempting to authenticate to Twitter with Gwibber 2.30.2-0ubuntu1 will fail. Clicking on the existing Twitter account in Gwibber will show a red bar that says "Authorize". Clicking the red authorize bar takes you to the Twitter application authorization page, where you fill in your username and password. Clicking the authorize takes you back to the regular Twitter account display. It now says authorized. But in fact we are not authorized. This can be shown by clicking another account and then back to the Twitter account where the red bar reappears. If I attempt again, Twitter remembers the username and password and will once again attempt to authorize but will fail. Tried logging out and back again to the desktop, no go.
