I have another Dell Latitude E5500 with the same hardware. Only difference is that the one experiencing the issue got the motherboard changed already once after burnt - but the replacement was quite the same and I did not have the lshw issue before where Ubuntu 9.10 has been on that machine.
Attached you find a sudo lshw of the second E5500 (currently running 10.04.1 Lucid). ** Attachment added: "lshw from other machine where sudo lshw works under 10.04.1" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lshw/+bug/633548/+attachment/1558337/+files/lshw-othermachine-sudo.txt -- sudo lshw locks up complete desktop https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/633548 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
