I have another Dell Latitude E5500 with the same hardware. Only
difference is that the one experiencing the issue got the motherboard
changed already once after burnt - but the replacement was quite the
same and I did not have the lshw issue before where Ubuntu 9.10 has been
on that machine.

Attached you find a sudo lshw of the second E5500 (currently running
10.04.1 Lucid).
