I am running Lucid with Seahorse 2.30 and I get a similar behavior as described by Prototype-T4286. The "Generating key" dialog hangs but I have the "My personal keys" tab selected and eventually my new PGP key shows up without having to restart the application. I terminate the "Generating key" dialog manually.
