Chris, are there really no working drivers for you at Avasys?

Till - no, I tried loads and loads, but no joy.

Himanshu - I'm a newbie to Linux too, but to be honest with huge
reluctance I had to completely give up on it because I couldn't resolve
my CX11N issue. I run my business from my computer and not being able
to print still makes Windows a no brainer. This disappointingly remains
my only reason for not being able to stick two fingers up to Mr Gates.
I REALLY wanted Linux to work.

4 months later and I thought I'd dip in here again to see if there had
been any useful developments but it appears to apparently be in the lap
of Epson software engineers... or not, as the case may be. :-( Let's
face it there's little incentive for Epson. Most of the pre installed
Linux software on new computers seems to be aimed at poor people.

Ubunu - love the idea - absolutely LOVE the idea, but with deep regret I
can't use it... or I can risk spending another £400 on a decent colour
laser all in one which >may< work in future Linux versions. Ever
hopeful, but right now not happy :-(

If anyone ever finds anything that makes Ubuntu work with the CX11
>please< let me know.

Cheers :-)
