Thanks for reporting this bug and helping to make ubuntu better. There are some troublesome segfaults in your dmesg, and one of those was dpkg-deb segfaulting on one of the packages being upgraded.
Hopefully this doesn't mean there is a hardware error, but it might. To try and start with a clean slate, could you please: 1. reboot 2. sudo apt-get clean in case some of the cached, downloaded, and uninstalled packages are corrupt 3. sudo apt-get update 4. sudo apt-get dist-upgrade Please let us know if that succeeds. ** Changed in: krb5 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- package libgssapi-krb5-2 1.8.1 dfsg-2ubuntu0.2 failed to install/upgrade: il sottoprocesso dpkg-deb --control ha restituito lo stato di errore 2 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/628109 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
