Public bug reported: I am using Feisty Fawn Beta. This bug is reproducible
adding the following line to repositories in Synaptic Package Manager : deb http://ftp.osuosl.org/pub/pculture.org/democracy/linux/repositories/ubuntu edgy (with a missing slash at the end...) makes synaptic package manager to crash with the final characther the load of repositories is ok.
