Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: chromium-browser

Chromium crashes when I type something in the Google search field and
press enter or click on search. The same thing happens on various Google
versions (tried it with google.com, google.de, google.hu). Sometimes it
works, mostly not: "Something went wrong while displaying this webpage.
To continue, press Reload or go to another page."

When I search from the url bar of the browser, everything works and I
get no crashes - only when trying to search through the search field on
the Google.com/de/etc. page.

Tried to troubleshoot with my limite experience: Disabled and
uninstalled extensions. Reinstalled Chromium and even deleted the folder
configuration files for it in Home-> .config. Installed with and without
chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-extra. Nothing worked, problem persists.

Other pages don't have the issue. Only Google.

Ubuntu version: 10.04 LTS - Lucid Lynx
Chromium version: 7.0.509.0~svn20100830r57827-0ubuntu1~ucd1~lucid
