Public bug reported: New Ubuntu user here so bare with me.
Basically I received the latest upgrades from Ubuntu's Update Manager. Installs went, rebooted machine and now I have no graphic for my mouse or touchpad. The mouse works and using the CTRL button I can see where it is positioned and certain buttons and menu options do highlight if I 'mouse over them'. I am using Ubuntu 10.10- the Maverick Meerkat and per Synaptic the apt package installed is 0.8.0ubuntu2 Clearly I expect to see my mouse arrow and do not know how best to get the driver for my Gateway M320 laptop.
